Where it all began..........

Welcome to.........Chloe's Bowtique

This is where it all began.....When this little bundle came into our world in 2009. Her name is Chloe and she is the reason for "Chloe's Bowtique." It all started because I have always been creative and always seen things and will always see things and think..."HMM I can do that on my own." Is this a good quality or a bad one? Sometimes great and sometimes not so good when everything comes crashing down because I don't know how to use skills saw. However, when it came to hair clips, this became my favourite hobby and passion.

Chloe is the middle child, squished between a
brother 4 years older (Jayden)  and a
brother 17 months younger ( Milo).
In 2009 it was very hard to find hair accessories, let alone hair accessories that stayed in her hair. So when I found out how to make these my mind was filled with ideas and "Chloe's Bowtique" was born. Circle back to 2015 and hair clips are practically filling up every booth and craft table possible. Discouraging? Yes, very. I did my duties, I did the Christmas craft circuits and summer fairs just trying to cover the costs of the supplies I had invested in and sometimes I would barely make enough to cover the table cost. It's hard to make a profit when the table is $100.00 and my items are only $5.00 a piece. But, I did it. I enjoyed it. It was a break away from my busy family and I was able to enjoy the Saturday mornings to myself with my littlest guy [Milo] and a starbucks. Milo was still a baby and he just sat there or slept while I chatted away with all the other crafters. It was fun. But, unfortunately my daughters health took a turn. Praise the Lord that today she is a healthy, growing little girl but it was not always like that. **more on this come**

In 2013 I took a break. How was I to compete with 8+ tables at a kidswap filled with hair clips when there were only 40 tables total. I took pride in my work and when people were selling for half the amount I was, it seemed like there was no point. I had a 3 year old in and out of the hospital, and two boys that deserved some more time then I was giving. I Decided that this wasn't for me anymore. My time felt wasted and most of all my family time suffered. Sitting at my desk pre-making things in the hopes they would sell finally came to a halt.  New hobbies emerged but....I knew clips weren't gone forever!

I still love hair clips. I truly do. I love them. I love looking at them, making them, using them, and most of all giving them away for gifts and to my friends. Every little girls needs a couple in her pile of elastics, don't you think? So about a month ago I decided that I was going to re brand myself. Get back in the game. Well. It's been alot harder then I thought. I was 285 likes on my Facebook page for 5 years and I managed to get up to 303 likes by doing a giveaway. Seriously though, why is it so hard? I did some research and decided I would do a blog vs a website in hopes of telling people my story of MY Chloe. The Heart and Soul of "Chloe's Bowtique." I'm planning a new giveaway in April, but before I do I wanted to people to know why The Children's Hospital is being included in it. Ill write more on that later. But first, please meet my family. My Husband Nick, he takes care of us. He works hard for us and for me to be able to have so many hobbies. I'm sure he wishes one of them was cooking! He is always supportive of me no matter what.  Jayden is my oldest, then Chloe, then Milo. This was the best picture I could find. Should I be sad? Family photo's might be on the horizon!

Anyways, I just wanted to introduce myself and where Chloe's Bowtique came from. please visit my Facebook Page or Etsy Page
